We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator to join a busy workshop team specialising in the manufacture, repair and refurbishment of roller shutters and metal doors. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability with a well-established engineering company.

Working from engineering drawings, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling sheet metal components to a high standard using a variety of fabrication techniques, hand tools and power tools. TIG welding experience is essential as you’ll be joining metal components as part of the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, cut, shape and assemble sheet metal components.
• Carry out TIG welding to join metal components accurately.
• Manufacture and repair roller shutters and metal doors.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment.
• Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.
• Work independently and as part of a skilled fabrication team.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience fabricating roller shutters and metal doors.
• Competent TIG welding skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience working with sheet metal fabrication.
• Confident using hand tools and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Reliable with a positive work ethic and excellent timekeeping.
